Join thousands of others, like Tammy, who are discovering the hope and peace of a life of thankfulness through the Jesus Calling® Bible Study: Practicing Thankfulness.
In just four weeks, learn to practice thankfulness each day by studying Scripture, reflecting on what you've learned, and reading companion devotionals from Jesus Calling®.
Week 1: Learn how to view life through the lens of God’s abundance and to start living with His goodness in mind.
Week 2: Take aim at grumbling and learn to ask God to help you guard your heart through the practice of thankfulness.
Week 3: Reflect on some of your past experiences of rescue and praise God for the impact of His Presence.
Week 4: Identify the ways that God has responded to your spiritual needs and develop a practice of daily gratitude.
Every session includes excerpts from the Jesus Calling® devotional that relate to that week's biblical theme to help you enter God’s Presence and hear Him speak through His Word.

Dear Readers,
As we approach this holiday season of Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas, I want to take this opportunity to greet you—and to tell you how thankful I am for you.
Throughout my many years as a Christian, I have kept a “Thanks Book.” I try to take time every day to write in it—jotting down a few things for which I’m especially grateful. This practice helps me keep a positive, thankful focus. I hope that you also may experience a grateful focus, with your heart open to God, so that you can see the many blessings He scatters alongside your path each day.
The holidays can be stressful and rather frantic for us. But I encourage you to carve out some quiet moments during this season to reflect on the amazing Gift of love that God gave us at Christmas—Jesus. Through knowing Him as your Savior, you find that the storyline of your life has an indescribably happy ending!
My hope is that you will become increasingly aware of God’s glory, not only during this holiday season, but all year long.
