Meet Lee Strobel
Atheist-turned-Christian Lee Strobel is a former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and a New York Times best-selling author whose more than 40 books and curricula have sold over 18 million copies worldwide. Described by The Washington Post as “one of the evangelical community’s most popular apologists,” Lee is known for combining investigative journalism with a passion for helping others discover the truth about Jesus.
After nearly two years examining the evidence for Christianity, Lee became a follower of Christ in 1981. He has since served as a teaching pastor at several of America’s largest churches, hosted the national TV program Faith Under Fire, and taught at Roosevelt University and Houston Baptist University.
His spiritual journey was depicted in the award-winning film The Case for Christ. Among his most notable works are The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, The Case for a Creator, and The Case for Heaven.
Lee and his wife, Leslie, have been married more than 50 years and live in Texas. They have two grown children and several grandchildren.
