Approval and Entitlement

These two subtle little friends can eat away at our thought lives and steer our decisions possibly more than any other strongholds. Just like we studied last week, these are more of an inner war that no one really sees. Honestly, most of the time we barely know that these streams or rivers have pushed their way deeply into our thought patterns and expectations, silently demanding their needs be met.

But the bondage that comes from living entitled and living for people's approval is deep, and the freedom that comes from replacing those expectations with something better is worth it.
